There appears to be a new discussion forum.
Layout is virtually identical to this one.
The SRU boys are planning on using this forum.

    Here it is :http://www.collegehints.com/boards/:D

I noticed this too. The few responses seemed too polite and courteous...if there is such as thing.

Did you notice the one degree mill advertised there is K-w? I think SRU setting it up is unlikely. Also read the thread on Gus definately a K-W set up.

K-W seems to be the only unaccredited institution with its own forum.

There are some postings by K-W grad Dick Suhar. Dick is a straight talker. A rare specimen in the world of unaccredited institutions!

If you search thru the site, there is an Adv. for Robert Kenedy University also (hey, I thought they were a "Questionable" school)

Their command of English grammar is beyond reproach.
It goes without saying that this fact points out the inherent value of a degree from a mill or "non wonderful" institution.:p

I think we all need to rally in support of Gus. I don't know how ANYONE could survive such a vicious attack. Gus must be quivering under the bed.

So far, the forum seems limited in its scope and not very interesting. Maybe things will pick up later. I find it amusing that the two main protagonists seem to have such contempt for Degreeinfo, yet seem possessed by the strange inability to refer to it by name. Sort of reminds me of the Voldemort character ("He Who Must Not Be Named") in the Harry Potter Books. Perhaps they should refer to Degreeinfo as "The Forum That Must Not Be Named" :D :D

You know, that funny thread sure reads like it was all written by the same person.

From http://www.collegehints.com/boards/showthread.php?postid=240#post240 : "This site appears to be a little more civil than degreeinfo. I believe I will stay until I see a post from the Bear or Israel."

Well, I'm flattered to be considered similar to "the Bear" in some way. But I thought I was more polite to the SRU faction than most people here; so, I'm wondering if our off-putting quality is really "incivility". Is it, perhaps, something more along the lines of "incisiveness"?

    Naive?

Perhaps I need some blue removed from my eyes, but I am sure somebody here can help me.

The forum that shall also not be mentioned (a couple of weeks from now 50% of all discussion forums will be visited only by accident) seems to do marketing for institutions that are certainly outwith the realm of the non-wonderful.

So, I wonder, do all of those institutions that are not K-W exist as a reference for window-dressing, or are they actually 'in on it', as it were? If so, should it not be a matter of simplicity to find out more about who stand behind the forum etc.?

If they're just the token filler that fake accreditors use to tuck their own golden calf under, it seems to make little sense. If they're not, they would appear to be aware off what's taking place. Perhaps more than aware, perhaps directly involved.

    Is this simple-minded logic?

What is amazing is that the administrator claims to not know much about degeeinfo, but has the same format. Also he/she is simply known as "administrator". Very strange

At the current time, Collegehints.com seems like a new iteration of the now-defunct Distancedegree forum (apologists for non-RA programs on a forum that withered away for lack of interest).

    Just my opinion.
