Comes now the University of Anaheim

The California-approved but unaccredited institution previously known as Newport Asia Pacific University has become the University of Anaheim, yet another reminder of the fact that ".edu" doesn't necessarily tell us much. www.anaheim.edu

Most of the senior administrators, who all seem to have good credentials, had prior involvements with Kensington and, in one case, Hawthorne.

One unaccredited .edu domain was offered for sale. But two appear: http://www.novus.edu and http://www.anaheim.edu.

It tells me something. It tells me that EDUCAUSE is asleep at the wheel.

Let's see. Anaheim University based in Newport Beach, California.

Did the City of Anaheim acquire the City of Newport Beach?

I love the link to the Baseball player's tour of Japan. Maybe that's the Anaheim connection.

    Newport University

    Dear Dr. John,
I thought Newport University was legitimate school, just unaccredited. Is this the same place? Are they still good? Are they just trying to hit the asian market before they ( the Asian folks) wise's up. Is the old Newport University still the same or a brand new game???
    Curious?

...and the triumvirate co-sponsor the Sewing Circle, Book Review & Timing Association meetings held at the Jan & Dean Community Center. I believe the current chair of the A.A.C.S.C.B.R.&T.A. is a little old lady from Pasadena.
