Hi. I did a search and did not find any information regarding this RA MBA program. It's rated as the least expensive RA MBA program in the nation by the downloadable book (pdf format) at http://www.geteducated.com/ Has anyone had any experience with this program or know anything about it? I am looking for the least expensive that offers financial aid (stafford loans). I considered Amberton in Texas but its cash or private loan only. I am getting a bachelors from Baker College in a few months but don't want to get my MBA from the same college. I am now considering UMUC and possibly Walden but they are both high in price compared to Cameron.
A quick review of the site seemed to indicate that this MBA program is not true distance learning but rater off-campus. By that, youattend actual class at satellite sites, namely following Southwest Oklahoma sites: ·Ada, ·Chickasha, ·Duncan, ·Altus, ·Ponca City ·Enid, and ·Seminole. The program is also offered at 8 sites throughout ·Europe. The European sites are US military bases or facilities.
To add a DL angle to this discussion, Cameron (as did OU with the M Ed) just lost the MBA contract on European bases to U oP. So far, the transistion has been rocky, with problems in transferring from one program to the other. U oP will offer its full range of DL courses online, with some courses taught in seminars with MA holding "facilitators", not PhD college professors Besides that indicator of lesser quality, the replacement degrees are not M Ed. or MBA, they are MA degrees in Elementary/Secondary Education and Organizational Management, respectively. I'm lucky enough to finish up with OU, taking my last two courses via learning contract.
