Hi there people. It's been a while since I last posted.
Anyways, I was wondering on several schools posted on Western Govenors University's webpage, and their reputation.

    The link is here: http://www.wgu.edu/wgu/about/educators_institutions.html

    1) Magellan University, is this institution a university?
All it offers is IT courses but no degree. I think they use the same type of system like Oracle University to attract potential students to learn & earn IT certifications.

    2) ACCIS, I heard this was a sister school to Chadwick University.
I've searched the Oregon link and Chadwick isn't on that list of illegal institutions that grant degrees.

    3) Chapman University & Fresno Pacific University in California.
I've not heard of these two, are they accredited at all, if so, how are they?

I'm currently at JIU, which is also one of the schools listed on the above link, the reason i'm asking is that I want to transfer my certificate credits to one of those schools on the site and see if I can obtain a Masters degree.

If anyone knows of any inexpensive colleges/universities that offer inexpensive Masters degree's that are accredited in the US,
Please post. I'm a Canadian and the two listed (Athabasca/BC OU) are a tad expensive.

    Thanks,

Well, Jones is certainly more expensive than the two Canadian options that you presented, so I can understand quite well why you are trying to seek a lower cost alternative for your Masters studies. Then too, if the tuition deregulation proposal is approved by the Alberta government, AU could be well pricing itself out of the market.
