The other night I was watching a segment of "Take This Job" on the A&E network. One of the subjects was Dr. Ava Cadell, a Sexologist. As the camera panned quickly through her office, I noticed a framed degree from Newport University. Upon investigation, sure enough, Dr. Ava sports a Doctorate in Human Behavior from Newport University and a Doctorate in Education in Human Sexuality from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, both unaccredited, California state approved schools. So, although many on this board agree that unaccredited degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on, every once in a while, one works! For more on Dr. Ava, visit her site at: www.sexpert.com
I wonder if her Newport dissertation dealt with trigasms or sextrology? Regardless, she gets my vote for the most attractive holder of two unaccredited doctorates who was raised by nuns in a Hungarian orphanage. I bet she'll never end up in the Illinois, New Jersey or Oregon illegal (in those states) degree prison.
Here's a very prominent IASHS graduate: http://www2.rz.hu-berlin.de/sexology/GESUND/ARCHIV/STAFF.HTM He has a D.Phil. from Heidelberg, but that's in American Literature. He went on to earn a second doctorate from IASHS, and made his career as a sexologist, including stints with the German government, and now at Humboldt University in Berlin. And you can find IASHS graduate Dr. Gloria Brame if you really want to. I won't post a link to her website because some people might find it scary. (Despite all of the obvious similarities, IAHS is not Bob Jones University.) I will say that if Dr. Brame ever ends up in unaccredited-degree-prison, there's nothing that the other prisoners could possibly do to her that she wouldn't thoroughly enjoy. It's interesting that there is no Ava Cadell in IASHS' list of dissertations.
