It's not what school does for you...it's what you do with school!

Very interesting. A great many people hang their hat on school credentials as an end state (almost pathologically suspended at that stage in life) but don't seem to realize that after the degree(s) are earned the world expects the candidate to actually perform in order to succeed. If they don't, they will join the frenzied ranks of educated and philosophical derelicts. Harvard will not keep a non-performer employed and yet a motivated worker from a lower tier school can be quite successful. In real life, few colleagues (in business anyway) give a hoot where you graduated from. In most professions you are expected to have graduated from somewhere legitimate (accredited or perceived equivalent) but exactly where tends to be a matter of personal preference, academia notwithstanding.
