Hi Pottan: Get a grip, boetie!

    1) Would you want a doctor from something called the Universal Empire?
    2) Since almost everything is located in India, why st Kitts?
    3) The faculty vitae consist of bragging and self-flattery; normal faculty lists simply show what schools were attended and the current academic speciality.
    4) St Kitts has NO quality control accreditation--see previous discussions of Berne University for a clearer idea.
    5) India has begun to impose a wee bit of q.c.--the Electro-Homoeopathy folks are no more, apparently. Could this phenomenon have driven the Universal Empire to a Caribbean refuge?
    6) The Brit grand nawab of this affair belligerently recounts how traditional medical education is worthless; if these folks are on the, oh, cutting edge of anything, why aren't they accepted by the Indian government?
    7) If any "doctor" ever comes near me with a Universal Empire tag on his arse, I'll maim him. This is not a threat. This is a promise.

In my experience (except for Dr Gina) whenever anybody says "I have a friend who...", they generally do not, and actually want something for themselves. Perhaps you are another exception. If so, what on earth does your "friend" really want?

    Yours cordially, Janko

    P.S. S.C. Bose was a fascist.

Before enrolling in any foreign medical school, check to see if any of the states that accept it are places where you want to live. Acceptance can also change over time.

Be aware that a small percentage of students from some foreign medical schools can acually pass the US exams.

You can check for accreditation of medical schools at this website:

    http://imed.ecfmg.org/search.asp

When it comes to foreign medical schools, do your research! Take a visit of the campus. Often a website is impressive and the campus is nothing more than a shack!

    hi,
well, i know lots of people studying at universal empire.

Its not recognised by the Indian Government, i know that and
in India, u need to be recognised by the Govt. and the University
Grants Commission (UGC) to be a valid Indian University.
Also, medical colleges should have recognition from the Indian
Medical Association(IMA) and technical Colleges and Universities
should be recognised by the AICTE(All India Council for Technical
Education). So the system of recognition in India is much more
simpler and easier to understand than that in the US.
All the colleges or universities recognised by the above, are
valid and recognised by foreign governments and universities.

Well Uncle janko, I am not a medical student, i am an Engineering
Graduate from a recognised and famous university in India....

The Universal Empire Advts. can be seen on TV and newspaper
around India and this has led to a number of Indians joining
    it.

Well, then, with the plethora of legit universities in India, anybody who hooks up with the Universal Empire is either stupid or a fraud. Sorry--I have stupid friends, too. My impression, also, is that a number of Indian universities offer DL, at least to Indian citizens. I just can't see any intelligent reason, therefore, to go with the Universal Umpire. It's just not cricket.

I bet the main reason so many Indians are attending this school is because it is SO difficult to get into school in India. I have read stories about students from India committing suicide because they got a B.
