I needed to have a single ACE-reviewed course transcripted by ACE as a "fail-safe" way of preserving 6 recommended credits in Spanish from a government training program. The presenting agency is in transition right now, and I figured it was better to be safe than to risk having the training records go AWOL. It took four months of phone calls, e-mails, and increasingly insistent letters to get a registration packet from ACE. With the packet in hand, it took the government agency-- you know, the one I was worried about-- precisely 48 hours to complete the forms and return them to ACE. That was over a month ago. I'm not holding my breath. Care to guess what my personal opinion of the Registry program is?
