Has anyone had experience with the DL MAs in English at Nottingham University? These seem to be more linguistics and theory rather than literature oriented.

    Any thoughts?

    thanks

I don't know anything about that particular program but if it's not shaking out the way you had hoped then you could try taking a look at these other MA English/Literature programs:
    Fort Hays State University
    U of California - Irvine
    U of Maine - Orono
    UNISA
    U of S. Queensland
California State U - Dominguez Hills
    Central Queensland U
    Good luck,

    Hi Jack -

Thanks for the info. I had just been looking at theFort Hays program, and also have been aware of the CSUDH Humanities program for awhile.

The Fort Hays program did look intriguing. Do you know any more about it, or have any experience with it? Maybe someone else on the board might?

The California programs have a lengthy residency requirement, as they are directed more towards teachers (who have summers off!). While it wouldn't be impossible for me, it would be difficult to swing my schedule to accommodate.

I will check out some of the others you mentioned as well.

    Thanks!

    Mike -

Yes, you're right about the CSUDH-HUX program. Should have excluded that from the others, which have the summer residencies.

    Thanks for pointing that out.
