I received Official Notice of my registration today. I have five years to pass four exams.

I haven't received the study materials yet, but I have a feeling that it ain't gonna be easy.

Thing is, since you pay the bulk of the tuition up front, it's hard to quit!

Just keep asking yourself, "Would Rumpole quit?" Stiff upper lip, old man.

An LL.M. is a Master of Laws. It is a "taught" master's degree for lawyers and law graduates.

I am also taking my second year of Spanish at the local university. I'm thinking that the combination, plus many years of criminal law practice experience might make me attractive as clinical adjunct faculty at some law school after I retire.

Maybe not. But it will be fun trying.
