Also after looking over several schools faculty list I have not seen any faculty degrees listing these schools. Does anyone know of schools with faculty from any of these? I have found degrees from Pacific Western and CCU, but not any of the above.
I haven't tried with Excelsior ........but they are urging me to look into their graduate program as soon as I graduate in March 04. If they had MaEd degree.......then I'd be intersted...but they don't!!!
People do it all the time (I was admitted into University of Illinois masters program with an Excelsior degree). If the graduate program is comptetitive, just make sure that you try to stay as competitive as possible - make sure you do well on admissions tests and try to mold your undergraduate "coursework" (used lightly since many people test out of most classes at these schools) to match the undergraduate prerequisites of the graduate programs. For example, most graduate computer science schools require some combination high-level programming, data structures, discrete math, and possibly software engineering. I just tried to make sure my undergraduate transcript reflected this as much as possible.

There are some. Try searching Google for "BS University of the State of New York", "BA University of the State of New York", "BS USNY", "BA USNY", "BS Regents", and "BA Regents". Remember the name "Excelsior" is new. There hasn't been time yet for "Excelsior" alumni to become professors.
I'm a 1998 Regents/Excelsior grad, who has been admitted into two grad programs, Troy State U's International Relations Program and University of Oklahoma's (OU) Master of Education Program. Obviously, as a military student taking these classes at military bases, admission is not the same as at the home campus. But the home campus professors are traveling to teach the classes. My most recent Oklahoma professor was trying to recruit me into traveling to OU's in-resident PhD program. She said (90 percent) that Admissions would take me as a masters alumni. I'm still hoping to see Excelsior come up with DA/L Litt/PhD in Liberal Arts, cause I can't see spending three years as a grad assistant with a wife at home and two school aged kids to raise. On a side note, I wish there were some good DL options for those of us who do not want a Management/business/Leadership oriented doctorate. I'd love to teach a few liberal arts classes in CC college or on-line. Being an administrator doesn't sound like fun.
