I have found some interesting degrees by going to Lawrie miller website:

    http://www.bain4weeks.com/

I looked troy state and they offer two degrees which interest me

Master of science in management with a concentration in HRM.

Master of Science in Management Degree Program
The MSM degree offers four, 36 semester hour options:
    1. Human Resources Management
    2. Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness
    3. International Management
    4. Healthcare Management

All options require 6 core courses, 4 concentration courses, and 2 elective courses.

or a master degree in Human resource management:

All graduates from the HRM program must successfully complete a nine course core and one additional course suitable to the individual students academic and employment background and specific career objectives

The first one is a 12 course degree with a cost of about 12*840= 10080 dollars

The second one is a 10 course degree with a cost of 8400 dollars

calculation is based on the follwoing line:

$280 per Graduate Credit Hour, for a total of $840 per Graduate Online Course

Which of the two is the better one?

Hi rdl50. I have no idea which is best, but be assured, you'll have a degree like a heavy-duty lawn mower: Troy Bilt. Best of luck.

They both look very similar, with a few minor differences. MS is the more general course, whihc could have the more cross connections to other areas. MHR is a "slightly" more concentrated field with a very specifc title.

If it was me I would go for the more general degree unless you are aboslutely, 100% positive, that you will never, ever change fields in the slightess.

I am deeply disappointed! Every Carpathian peasant worth his salt knows Troy-Bilt is famous for their rototillers! Their predecessor actually invented the name rototiller!
