I friend of mind is looking to become an Appraisal, but due to other obligations would like to take the course online. I did a quick search, but did not come up with alot. Any suggestions?
If he or she is interested in real estate appraisal, classes are not the issue. The key is finding someone that will train them and feed them work. It is a much lengthier process than most imagine. I would guess only a small percentage of those that take the classes ever become licensed appraisers.
The one school on Long Island offers the licensure class and job placement after the course is complete. When speaking with them they made the process seem simple. However, they do not offer it at a distance, it is either 9 - 5 M - F or 6 - 10 M - F Real Estate
