For those of you who are not aware, I have applied to Excelsior College to finish what I started some time ago, a second BA degree. For those who have had experince with excelsior, what is the time frame from when they recieve the required transcripts to its posting on their website for viewing and review by them? I had send for my transcripts to be sent out to Excelsior over 2 weeks ago, ad it is still not posted on my account. (They were sent out by the schools on 7/15). Any info would be helpful.
I wish I could help you with this one but I finished my Excelsior degree back when it was USNY. This was before they had such fancy things as online accounts. Cy
Dr. Gina, They are pretty quick about posting it. I submitted my app last month, and one transcript was not showing on the web site after 2 weeks. So I called the sending school, and lo and behold they never sent it. It was mailed out last Wednesday, and it showed up yesterday during the day on my Excelsior account with yesterday's date on it (the other transcripts that were on time were posted right away, too). So, I would say that if they are not showing on your student services page, they haven't gotten them yet. You should probably check with the sending school.
Excelsior usually lists transcripts under "Transcripts Received" the same day it receives them. It does sound as if your transcript might have got lost, or never been sent. The "Note: Your evaluation will be conducted within six to eight weeks after our receipt of your transcript(s)" is correct. But if you are already enrolled and have a specific question about your degree plan, they do the relevant evaluation in about one week.
