Does anyone have any experience with Touro’s PhD program in Educational Leadership / E-learning concentration? I’ve committed to it only after much soul-searching and comparing it to Capella’s Teaching and Training Online track. Capella runs about 8-10K more, and I just could not justify the added expense. Thanks, Reggie
Hey Reggie, No experience with Touro, but yeah, I agree with you on Capella's cost. It's really expensive, and I'm having a hard time justifying it myself. I'm looking into the business management area, and from other threads, Capella has some hidden costs. Depending on who you believe, the extra costs go anywhere from $1200 to $22000, but that's just based on what I've read around here. So take it with a grain of salt. Either way, Capella is expensive.
I advise you to to take a close look at the University of Nebraska's PhD program in Educational Leadership. I think its far less expensive than Capella. http://extended.unl.edu/student/degrees/index.html
