Does anyone know anything about Macquarie University. It's in Sydney, Australia. It seems that it offers DL reserach doctorates in a variety of subjects. Is it GAAP accredited, etc.?

    Thanks

Macquarie University is a "state owned" university by the State of New South Wales. It draws its name from Governor Macquarie who was the Governor when New South Wales was a colony of Britain. There are very few private universities in Australia unlike the US. All government sponsored universities draw monies from the federal government for their student places.

It would be GAAP approved. How well it is known in the US I could not comment. The degrees are well recognised in Australia.

It's a fine university. Except for all the Aussies.

Can I assume that is Gert's way of welcoming Peter home?
