Do you have to be military to take Dante?

"DANTES." Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support. Offers exams administered by the ETS. An outgrowth of the old USAFI. At one time limited to military members, now available to others. See their website for more info. Click Here

    Hi plcscott

Just to let you know, I found the DSST exams a little easier than the CLEP.

Thanks guys! I checked out Lawrie Miller's site, and found some Dante info. I went through the Physics practice exam, and it doe not look bad at all.

    Another DANTES question

How accurately do the sample questions on the exam fact sheets predict test results? Is it like CLEP, where if you get half the sample questions right you're good to go?

    Regarding DANTES exams:

Be forewarned that, even though DANTES exams & CLEP exams seem quite similar in design, DANTES exams seem to be discriminated against more frequently than CLEP exams. For example, the capricious Ohio University will accept CLEP exams for their external degree program -- so long as they are taken well before you have any official contact with OU! They will not accept DANTES exams at all! Even distance-learner-friendly Charter Oak State College will accept more CLEP exams than DANTES exams!

    Cordially,
    Richard Kanarek
