I can't hide it any more

    I finished all requirements for my doctoral degree in early May. I did no announce it here because I was applying for an IT job that requires only a master's degree. Now that my school has conferred the degree officially, I can no longer continue to make it a secret. I received the degree officially during a commencement ceremony that took place on June 29, 2003 in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
    Like Andy Borchers once said, the program was like an endurance race for me. At some point during the dissertation process, I thought that I could not finish. But I never gave up. I advise others that are still in the race (Rich Douglass, Tom Head, Eli, North, Bill, Steve, and Darren,) not to give up or give in. If you don’t give up, you will certainly win the race.

    Congratulations, Dr. Ike.

    You can have Bruce Willis' role in Die Hard VI. A band of terrorist professors attempt to sabotage DL doctorates. They didn't count on Doctor Okonkwo. :)
