I am looking at NorthCentral U. for a possible PhD program. I see that they are accredited but do not accept financial aid at this time. I am using federal loans currently for my masters program that I am finishing up. I know that my loans will not come due until I am done with a Phd program BUT I am wondering if they will defer them if I am going through North Central since they don't accept federal aid. Will the financial aid people recognize that I am still in school even though NCU is not taking any financial aid. Will my other loans still be able to be deferred? I wonder how much the monthly payment comes to through NCU since you pay as you go? Anyone using this school and know about it?? Do they have a good reputation?

I'm considering their Psych degree but not sure what specialization. Anyone doing this program and can offer up input on the program?

Yes, the lender in the case of Sallie Mae, they will deferred, I called to find out, and they say yes, once enrolled at NCU you must send a form to the registrar office, so they can summit it in your behalf!

About Payment the best options is to give half down and two payments within next two months! If you pay in continue basis you will ahead of the game!

You should check with your lender but as a general rule a school must participate in Title IV for the loan deferral to apply.

Please let us know what you find out since there is obviously some confusion in this area.
