I am just wondering how Excelsior and COSC decide on granting credits for Microsoft and Comptia and not other reputed certifications like CCNP, CCIE, CISSP etc.

The following list suggests that Excelsior and COSC grants credit for Microsoft, Novel and Comptia certification. Where is Cisco's Certification? Where is Sun's certification? Where is Oracle's certification? Where is IBM's certification?

It seems like a biased approach. Any lawyers in this forum here to advise.

I have found that directly asking Excelsior about other credits for certification works better than asking for a lawyer.

At the moment the numbers for Microsoft or CompTIA holders is much larger than SUN, Cisco and others.

Given enough people asking about the certs may hurry along their review.

Personally I was thrilled to get the credits for MCP, A+, etc. but did not need them for a degree program.

    Remember COSC follows Excelsiors lead.
