Saw the following advertisement in a Roman Catholic newspaper:

"Earn a Master of Arts in Religous Education... Online

If distance and scheduling prevent you from coming to campus, you now have the option of completing your Master's Degree, Post Master's Certificate or Graduate Certificate in Religious Education online.

You can log on anytime in a 24 hour period and can anticipate logging on approximately 3-5 times per week. It is estimated that graduate students will commit 8-10 hours per week to readings, assignments, postings, and online discussions.

A Catholic College in the Franciscan Tradition
Lodi and Rutherford, NJ and Online Campuses"

Note: The school is RA and the program appears to be only 33 semester hours long. Tuition is $525 per credit unless you can qualify for a ministry tuition reduction (see website for details).

$525 per credit? Wow! $1575 per class is expensive for any school, but for an unknown-to-most-of-the-population school, that is outrageous.

Agreed... although I seem to recall that Catholic colleges are rather pricey! Luckily they're not ATS or the MARE would be a two year degree at around 60 smester hours... Talk about outragious!
