I am looking for how / who to contact regarding DL teaching in Business. I will have my Master's next month (both undergrad and MBA from AACSB) and about 10 years of industry experience.

I have checked with UOP, but they require two years experience after a Master's. Any information would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

Perhaps a bit of a scattershot approach, but you might consider getting a copy of "Bears' Guide to the Best MBAs by Distance Learning." Sending e-mails/snail mails to the schools that pique your curiosity (or to all of the schools, for that matter) might just do the trick.

Good Morning, I am not sure if your state requires you to take the Business Praxis. I would check before you proceed. Hille

Teaching for a DL/Online Business classs is one of the easiest/laidback job you can ever get. There are no class room lectures and discussions.
I am taking a MIS course at Northcentral University and the faculty never sent me a welcome e-mail and there are no discussion forums for the course. I just need to answer couple of review questions at end of each chapter and complete the course. In short there is NO FACULTY INTERACTION.

The faculty has no role here in the class room. He just need to go throught the answers written by the students and grade them.
COOL JOB RIGHT ?? Plus the School is RA :D

    Manjunath,

Did you decide not to continue with St. Leo because of the exams?

St Leo is a great school.

    Several reasons:
*I wanted concentration realted to IT/CIS/MIS.
*Mem retention tests were too much to handle with the time constraints.
*Program was a bit fast paced (8wks)as i work almost 12 hrs a day and will be oncall every other week due to job cuts and staff reduction.
*Most of the discussions used to be centered around defence (not the topics) as the majority of students were from armed forces and i felt myself "out of the crowd".

But after joining NCU found no interaction between faclulty-student and student-student.

I think DL/Online courses are a way of increasing the University's Bottomline.

    Manjunath,

Considering the recent thread on DL schools w/o proctored exams, would it be fair to say that Northcentral U could be included in this list?
