Universal Life Church PHD

Can you use these to call yourself Dr? I just want to post as PHD on usenet not use it academically or in business as i am retired now

 

Why do that when you could be a Power Monk. Then you could be "the walking and talking success."

If you want to call yourself "Dr." on newsgroups, just go ahead and do it. You don't need anyone else to tell you that it's OK.

If it's OK to lie, then you don't need them.

But if it isn't OK, then their their telling that it is won't help.

 

When your family and friends ask you, "you are a doctor of what?" - be prepared to see them on the floor laughing.

Having spent more than a little time on usenet myself I'd say that sooner or later (probably sooner) someone is going to ask you the same set of questions: In what field did you earn your PhD? From what school did you earn your PhD? etc. If you plan on telling the truth you'll be laughed off the newsgroup. If you plan on lying then why bother with the Universal Life foolishness in the first place?
