Has anyone taken this CLEP test? How difficult would you say it is? What did you use for study materials? How well did you do?
    Thanks.

I used Alan Brinkley, "The Unfinished Nation," the concise edition (which has a deifferent title?), Vol II. Scored an "A" - 99th percentile.

If you just need to pass, use the relevant portion of Barron's AP American History--you'll probably do better than merely a "C" --so fear not!

How hard did I find it? Since this is my major and have studied many books and courses at an advanced level already, I'm a poor judge of the question.

This one is pretty easy. I just read the notes off the freeuniversity website to refresh my memory, but I've always been a history buff.

Be sure to pay attention to Reconstruction.
