Those of you that have moved over from AED would recall Kristiaan deLey, and the discussions surrounding Capitol University etc.

His site has recently been updated, and it appears he is promoting the Liberian accreditation issue as well.

Note also that he lists a WES equivalency of a Concordia degree being deemed equivalent to a Canadian degree. A very interesting site - shame my Dutch isn't up to par at the moment.

    Cheers,

    George

It seems that this gentleman is confusing Concordia University (Liberia) with Concordia University (Montreal)

Though it´s actually a Belgian site (.be) in Flamish language, that´s pretty much the same indeed as Dutch... ;)
(hope the author of the site is not going to kill me now).

The author hold a Dutch first degree and an MBA and a PhD from Trinity College ( http://www.trinity-college.edu/executivemba.html ). As far as I can see, this particular Trinity is one of the less-than-wonderful ones, right?

At the moment, he works for Concordia College & University and Capitol University, both claiming Liberian (?) accreditation.

Does not sound too convincing for me...

It is really funny that he is using a credential service to claim that it is equivalent to a Canadian Ontario degree. The paper clearly says "an institution that is not recognized in Ontario".

However, the evaluation also says "equivalent to 4 years of post secondary study". Does this mean that the service is giving it an equivalent of four years of non accredited studies. The equivalncy is really confusing.

I know it is par for the course but it is reqally aggravating to see mills using names like Concordia that are in use by Concordia Montreal and the names of the universities (several) of the conservative ( :p ) Lutheran Chruch Missouri Synod education system.

    North

Ps The :p is a friendly a side to unk janko of the super stodgy W. Synod (who one web site I reviewed also called liberal for letting down the arch conservative side).
