There are also at least a couple of these DL Masters programs in Bioethics offered through some of the well known Australian Universities (Ican't remember the names right now). These have two possible advantages. The first is that the Australian degrees tend to be a bit less expensive than their US counterparts 9although this may not always be the case). The second is that they also tend to offer Postgraduate Diplomas in the same areas. These are a sort of mini-Masters (maybe 4-6 courses) that allows someone to get their feet wet in the subject without making as big a time commitment. If you then decide to continue on and get the Masters degree, all the credits are transferrable.

I found both programs to be very interesting - particularly if I choose to expand in the Healthcare Admin role. I am giving serious thought, however, to leaving the US Army and attending Ashland Theological Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. They have an MDiv with emphasis in Clinical Pastoral Counseling that appeals to me greatly.
