Hello, I am looking for the "cheapest" reading certificate I can find. This can be undergraduate and include any type of Dantes or Excelsior testing available. Hille

What is the goal for this certificate (if you don't mind my asking)? This could help me (and others) give you a better answer.

    Reading certificate?

Good Morning, I am interested in reading and also am finding a huge need for this type of skill. I will be attempting the Praxis this summer and need additional selling points for my resume. Thanks for any ideas. Hille

    Re: Reading certificate?

Ah. I don't know of any cheap reading certificates (or reading specialist credential/certificate/licenses). The University of Texas has such a program, but it appears to come as part of a master's program.

If you do find one, I'd certainly like to hear about it.

One thought is that you could do part of it on-campus and part of it via DL. My local Reading Specialist program would accept 9 units in transfer out of a total of 24 required. You could conceivably take those 9 units anywhere.
