It looks like Century is giving Columbia State a "run for its money". It would be interesting to see just how many century PhD graduates are teaching or consulting.
Another thread on Columbia State indicates that these degrees (though worthless) are still being recognized by some employers.

That assertion (re: CSU) comes from me.

Century claims to have issued more than 10,000 degrees, so I suspect more than a few are in use.

The diference between Century, Chadwick, K-W and the like, is that real course work is had, however compartively substandard to RA, and, the schools are legally meeting the operating requirements of the states in which they claim residence.

Columbia State, was not operating legally, hence it was closed, and CS give degrees out without any coursework, whatsoever.

The last I recall a state still has the ultimate right to determine what is and what is not not a legal post secondary institution operating within its boarders, and that, RA/NA accreditation is still a voluntary, not a mandatory, process. Century and the like, meet this. Utility is another matter alltogether.

PS - Chadwick claims to be AL State Approved.

Most of the other faculty members only posses a master's degree, what it makes me believe that the PhD is not a requirement to become a faculty member at this university. Also, he is the only faculty member that holds an american degree, it is likely that this university is selling "american" degreed faculty to the prospect students. I would assume that an SA degree would become more "accepted" in less developed countries where only few students have the money to access real "RA" education.
