    Hi all;

    I need to get my masters in Education at the lowest possible price through distance education. I know it sounds stupid but I need an accredited masters for the cheapest price. The quality of the degree is not important. The statement " the best value " is not a concern to me.

    I am teaching in Korea and here they could not care less where the degree comes from as long as it is a masters you have unlimited opportunities.

    However crass as that seems, I will not stoop to degree mills or fake degrees. I just need cheap and legit.
    Thank you folks

    Try the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. As far as I know they offer the lowest price respectable accredited MEd degrees.

    M.Ed.

    Also consider the University of South Africa. Their education department offers M.Eds in a variety of concentrations. Last I checked, the tuition for the complete program is under $2000 US.

    South Africa respected?

    I am currently teaching in Korea. I know that Korea has little respect for South Africa.

    I know several South African teachers here. When they have to go to Japan to get their E2 visas to teach in Korea, they are the only foreigners I am aware of that must get a special visa from the Japanese government in order to enter Japan.

    The question I have is this, Does having a Masters designation from South Africa create problems for teaching in Asia?
