Extensive research has led me to the conclusion that Sheila cannot in good faith call herself "Queen of the Internet." I've found others with the same claim; enquiring minds want to know who is the legitimate queen. Here are some of the other pretenders; I'll have to go with QEII, due to her royal blood and Internet history:

    Pamela Anderson http://pages.prodigy.com/queenpam/pamela.htm

    Raven Madd (suspicious gender) http://www.rainbow-akron.com/rba-07.htm

    Tara (suspicious gender) http://www.sirius.com/~mcmardon/words/tara.htm

Queen Elizabeth II (both royal and historical claim) http://www.isoc.org/guest/zakon/Internet/History/HIT.html

Other claimants according to search engine,
    but with website issues:
    Cindy Margolis (stale link)
    Teri Hatcher (dead link)
    Madonna (dead link)

For Queen Elizabeth II, go to 1976 in the chronology.

It all depends on what criteria should be used for the obviously coveted title "Queen of the Internet".

    1. If we want to emphasize the "Queen" part of the title then obviously Queen Elizabeth has a most solid claim.

    2. Personally I find the Pamela Anderson claim most interesting. However, I was afraid to look in fear that I might be forced to see a clip of her acting.

    3. If humor is the main criteria then one of the other two would be the top contenders.

    4. If sleeze and degree mill mentality are to be the main criteria then http://www.nsmi.com wins hands down.
