I received a letter from NSU today stating, in part, "Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and the Shepard Broad Law Center is [sic] proud to introduce the Master's in Health Law Program (M.H.L) to members of the military health care community. Our program is designed for health care professionals, doctors, administrators, facility board members, nurses, pharmacists, insurance, [sic] compliance professionals, risk managers, and other leaders in the health care industry.

The Master's in Health Law Program is ideally suited for military health care professionals because it is totally online and is available anywhere in the world you can access the internet....

The Shepard Broad Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law Center has received acquiescence from the American Bar Association Section of Legal Education to offer the M.H.L. program. . . . (more paragraphs of info)

The next start date for this program is July 13, 2003. Please visit our web site at www.mhl.nsulaw.nova.edu for an application and a more in-depth program description. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at military @nova.edu or toll free at 1-800-541-6682 ext 6161."

My reason for posting such a long bit was I zeroed in on "acquiesence" of the ABA. I wasn't aware that they approved any law training by distance. Hope this is of interest.
