DBA Program - Progress & Changes for 2004 * Any DBA who started their program from 1999 to 2002 and is currently enrolled will complete their program as it was structured in those years (MBA plus 4 specialisation courses, one research methodology course, three CIB courses, 4 dissertation courses). * We are monitoring progress of candidates in all postgraduate programs. Some DBA candidates have demonstrated slow progress and failures in courses or other problems. A few DBA candidates chose to exit the DBA program with Postgraduate Certificates in Management or transferred to a Masters' program. Please note that there are new regulations from 2003 regarding maintaining satisfactory academic standing. * We are now restructuring the DBA and this process will have to be accredited by USQ's Academic Board for 2004. Any DBA who may be selected in October 2003, will have a different schedule (MBA plus two research methodology courses, two 'advanced theory' courses, eight dissertation courses). The mode of delivery will stay the same at this stage. We can only select a small number of DBA students for semester 1, 2004. We will not be switching DBA students from the previous program structure to the new program structure.
