I would just like to say, it is nice to see a Dr. Bear post again. It has been too long for Dr. Bear to not give any advice. Thank Goodness for this moderated forum. Its too bad it had to come down to this, but I will settle for Dr. Bears posts here than not at all.

    Thank you,
    Stewart McDonald

I agree. Although it's hard to tell what will happen with the ng, at least there will be a place where people can get good, quality advice on d.e.

Thank you. It feels comfortable here.

John Bear (who will be putting
    on a folkdance workshop in
    Kitchener, Ontario in April --
    mentioned not to drum up
    business, but because Mr.
    McDonald, who does not have
    an Email address, is from
    Ontario, his registration says)

Is this information freely available to everyone? Where does one access this info?

    Thanks,

I'm sure the aed newsgroup will continue. I for one still frequent it, though not as much as before. I've baited the trolls when I'm in a whimsical or surly mood (often it's difficult to tell them apart), but to paraphrase Steve, if out of 100 posts, there is one genuine request he would want the person to receive assistance.

The trolls have gone beyond interesting. It seems they have turned more and more prple off. Their own actions speak louder than their words.

As a boss once said to me, "It's better to keep quiet anbe thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Larry M. asks, presumably about my referring to someone as being from Ontario, <<Is this information freely available to everyone? Where does one access this info?>>

If you click on the "Face + Question Mark" icon above a posting, that takes you to the profile provided by the poster.

    John, who eventually will
figure out how to get those
    quotes into boldface

And if you click on the face icon for Larry, you can get to his inexcusable web page [IMG]

Peter, who has figured out how to put anything into boldface.
