I'm sure the aed newsgroup will continue. I for one still frequent it, though not as much as before. I've baited the trolls when I'm in a whimsical or surly mood (often it's difficult to tell them apart), but to paraphrase Steve, if out of 100 posts, there is one genuine request he would want the person to receive assistance. The trolls have gone beyond interesting. It seems they have turned more and more prple off. Their own actions speak louder than their words. As a boss once said to me, "It's better to keep quiet anbe thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
