Can anyone suggest good preparatory material for the Chemistry and Biology CLEP exams? We have textbooks from the late '80s and early '90s, but no solutions to the exercises. A source for relevant problem sets (with solutions) and numerous practice exams (we just have the sample questions from last year's CLEP guide) would be especially helpful.

My local library had a book called Biology the Easy Way and it was more than enough information to pull a pass for the CLEP. I am about to pick up Chemistry the Easy Way and see if it is suitable for the Chemistry CLEP.

I was going to prep for the CLEP Chem, and am still going to sit for the Clep Bio.

Princeton Review Cracking AP Chem for the first, and I'm using Cliffs AP Biology prep book--only the best recommendations for self-study.

However, for chem, the Arco Master The AP Chem will give you a deeper swath of chem--it depends on how aggressive you want your P/F study to be: if it's prep for Organic Chem, go for it! If it's only a terminal requirement, why bust yer balls?
