The Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling has a full-page ad in the most recent edition of Christian Counseling Today, which is published by the American Association of Christian Counselors. The ad promotes the Arno Profile System (www.APSreport.com), stating that the APS training has been approved for: college credit, continuing ed. credit and employee reimbursement.

Are the SACC, NACC and Arno now associated with AACC, or is this an uncensored paid advertisement?

My guess is that it is simply a paid advertisement like SCUPS. AACC really ought to exercise some quality control. Has anyone figured out what Arno's credentials are for offering psychological profiles. Does he even have an accredited Masters in Psych or Counseling??

I am not sure about other states, but in Alabama his graduates can practice under the umbrella of religion. The Alabama Psychological Association will not allow them (or me for that matter) to offer psychological profiles to the public. They can call it personality profiles, faith assessment profiles, but not PSYCHOLOGICAL. Arno's credentials --- ah, that would be interesting. I agree, Clinton, et al, should be more conscious of what is being offer via their organization.
