National Technological University, which has been near Colorado State in Fort Collins since its founding in 1984, is moving. The academic department is moving to Minneapolis, the administrative department is moving to Baltimore, and the technical operations to Los Angeles. Accreditation will continue through NCA.

Now who was it who said that no legit university ever moved to a different state (let alone to three different states)?

John Bear said legitimate schools don't do it. But I don't think he meant it in an absolute sense, and I think he was applying it primarily to B&M schools. Still, it rarely happens. Some other accredited DL schools that have (or are contemplating it):

    AMU/APUS
    Walden
    Beacon

I would bet there are others. Exceptions don't disprove the rule, however. Plus, you have to look at why they move(d).

It's not quite the same thing, but many accredited theological seminaries have moved--both mergers and outright relocations.
