Has anyone completed MBA from Northcentral University? Would like to hear their experience? How long does it take to complete the program in a normal pace? What are pros and cons of their MBA? Thanks in advance for any info.
NCU A con is that the administration group is a mess at this point in time, additionally, the instructors have little nor no structure currently. I would wait for some time to pass, NCU is RA, and has a few law suits pending in the state courts. They have to evolve into their own culture, I'm cautious about the long term. Also DL MBA's are getting is bad press in the past few months.
I see no problem with NCU, but it's worth mentioning that there are over 200 accredited distance learning MBA programs available: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Haven/2386/dlmba.html http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Haven/2386/dlmba2.html If I recall correctly, barrows is a disgruntled former NCU student. I have no idea what he has against the school, or how much merit his criticisms may have, but I tend to ignore vague, anonymous gossip-mongering. That said, I would not go out of my way to recommend NCU's MBA--mainly because it seems to cost more than MBAs from some better-known, more established schools. Good luck! Cheers,
Re: NCU Barrows has a bug up his butt. Click on his name and check his previous posts. Bitterness without specifics.
Graduates Prior to RA Those who graduated prior to NCU got RA must have enjoyed the added value of the their degrees now, while the course works might have been easier before the school got RA. Any thoughts???
Re: Graduates Prior to RA Probably not easier (they applied for regional accreditation pretty much as soon as they were off the ground), but certainly much cheaper. Cheers,
