    All:

First of all, thanks for the advice the other day re:
Distance Learning and choice of colleges. Y'all
have been a great help and source of information.
I do have another question, however.

I'm US-based but looking - perhaps - to study for
an MBA via a UK-based university [distance learning,
of course]. If a UK-based school HAS a Federal School
Code does that mean I can apply for a loan of some
description even tbough I'm based in the USA and
    studying on a part-time, remote, non-residential
    basis?

And what of income? My annual income is six figures
plus so does that not factor into the loan approval
    equation in any way?

In short, based on the above "rules" and my income,
what route can I take [assuming that I can] to secure
loan funding to cover the costs of a part-time, UK-based
    remote [i.e. D/L] MBA degree?

    Many thanks,
    Parkesy

    Hi Parkesy,

BTW, good luck on your degree search. To the best of my knowledge, if the school qualifies for U.S. financial aid (ie. has a school code) then income only comes into play in regards to grants and subsidized loans. You should be able to secure an unsubsidized loan for whatever limit the school is allowed.

    Hmm...

If a student in a business school commands a 6-figure income (and in this recession, too!), how much does his professor earn? And if it's less, then shouldn't the student be teaching the professor?
