What say any of you currently enrolled in that MBA program? Are you pleased with it, is the quality good, how much work do you have going each week... tests, projects, what type of evaluations?

I've been dithering between EBS and Amberton, but I've also been considering NCU and Liberty lateley and details are welcome.

I plan on applying to Amberton for enrollment in the December 2003 term. I like the fact that Amberton has a Strategic Leadership concentration. The enrollment advisor that I have spoken to have answered every possible question that I had.

I also look at Liberty was not as impressed. I also looked in Touro and have spoken in great detail with and advisor their. I think it basically a matter of feeling comfortable with the information you are given.

    Good Luck

    Hi 9Chris,

Good luck with the MBA. So, where did you do your undergrad study?

    Good luck,

    Chris9,

I was also happy with the competence of the people at Amberton answering my questions. The lady I talked to at Liberty didn't know much and didn't seem terribly interested in talking. However I think I remember at least a couple of folks who liked their Liberty experience.

Amberton, NCU both look very flexible, and having read the Amberton syllabi, the courses look straightforward and interesting, and I like the thought of 10 week semesters rather than 16 weeks.

Good luck in your MBA studies.

Did you look at Saint Leo University Online MBA ? I just enrolled and started liking the program. The faculty teaching Org. Behaviour is a Yale/Wharton Graduate(Susan D. Steiner B.A., M.A., Yale University
M.B.A., Ph.D., The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
    Certified Public Accountant).
All the faculties are either DBA's are PHD's.The courses are 8 weeks long and all the lectures are on the CD ROM.

    No.
You need to buy the books.
Most of them are available on Half.com/Amazon as used ones for less.
CD-ROM will have lectures for each module and also the package for each course will have a printed sprial bind with the study guide, syllabus and plan of study.

    Manjunath...

Actually I noticed your post recently on your decision to attend St Leo and did some preliminary research on that school. It also has its merits...the 8 week terms are attractive as well as the CD-ROM lectures. Also, since the name smacks of popery, it's right down the alley for an old papist like myself....

I haven't decided on anything yet. I like the EBS concept very much and I've been impressed by the level of discussion and commitment by those posting on Watercooler, and I will have two exemptions to my credit should I go that route.

Amberton looks solid also, and since I'm self funding, the prospect of shelling out $500 per subject beats paying double or better for most programs.

Liberty seems cost competetive, I think it's self paced and the videotaped lectures sound interesting to me.

NCU, well they have yet to respond to my question on transfer credits so I'm not real impressed by the customer service at this early point.

Good luck with St. Leo, I'm glad you found a good fit.
