Looking to add more credits to my Charter Oak Transcript. I can find courses that match the portfolio for First aid, CPR, Genealogy, Amateur Radio, Broadcasting, and a couple more.

Does anyone have a course description for the NASD Series 6 or 63 exams. I know Nova Southern will give up to 12 credits, but TESC wants a course listing.

This is to improve my total credits towards teaching Tech Ed at the High School level.

    Hi there,

Here are courses offered by Arapahoe CC for series 6 and 7.
Here are courses from Broome CC that cover the series 6/63 examinations as well as the series 7 examination.

    Good luck,
    Tony

I spent the weekend searching and had no luck. Many thanks, now on to the paperwork.

You could try to check with Dearborn (a Kaplan subsidiary); they teach the course.

    Good luck.

    Hello again,

I should have reminded you that it might pay to look around. The courses I linked combined series 6/63 into one 3 credit course. Perhaps you can find discrete courses for each test and garner more credits?

I would recommend you to consider this Series 7 Preparation course. However, I am not absolutely sure that this online tutorial will meet all your requirements completely. So, research this website attentively and most likely that you will find the information required there. Personally I used their program when preparing for Series 7 test and would like to say that it has helped a lot. Good application.

At the time of the original post, I was attempting to portfolio about 6 different subjects, and needed to provide a 'course catalog' description for the Series 6 and 63 attempts.

In the long run, I went with Microsoft and CompTIA credits. When I find employment again maybe I will finish the portfolios.
