Greetings to the mighty forum~~~ I would like to ask if the knights of the round table would consider adding John Ryan's new "link" to our list of "links" John Ryan's Arts and Sciences Page Chris PS; when I greet the forum this way, I can't help but think of sir Lancelot and "brave, brave sir Robin" in Monty P's Holy Grail.
I agree Chris, I hope that your request is heeded. I really enjoy the Arts and Sciences page. Not only that, but I think we could help make it one of the best collection of D.E. degrees. Drew
It is a well-done page. Noting your alma mater, Chris, reminds me of one of the great moments in intercollegiate sports. In one of my years at Reed, in antediluvian times, when I was sports editor of the college paper, the football team had exactly one game scheduled that year. It was with Multnomah Bible. Exactly eleven mighty Reedies turned out to play, but one was sitting on the bench doing his physics homework, and refused to enter the game until he was done, so Reed played one man short for much of the game. Go Ambassadors. Go Griffins.
Cool~~ When I found out you went to Reed I couldn't help but think of the mighty basketball games (I only went to the b-ball games). The snazzy yin-yang on the Reed outfit. The awful MBC song... and the loud fans, screaming their guts out... and the memories go on. I didn't now MBC ever had a football team. That, Dr. Bear, is the most interesting factoid I have learned on degreeinfo to date. Chris
It looks like a good entry for the links list. One interesting (and oddly named) program: Master of Editing & Publishing -- they abbreviate that: MEd&Pub. Talk about having to describe your degree. Tom Nixon
