aka - The National Labor College

They are a candidate for RA, accept clep and presumably dantes/ece/tecep tests, require only 30 sh's to be earned from them, and are reasonably priced at $90/sh for union members.
Of course, they also require a week-long residency at the beginning of every semester.

Does anyone know anything about this school?

    Thanks,
    Tony

The George Meany center is very well regarded in Union and other Labor circles. They are partnered with the UMass Amherst Labor studies department to offer a Distance M.A. in Labor Studies. Although that program has some very limited residency requirement (1 week a year, I believe) It is otherwise distance. The program is meant for those interested in union leadership, and it has a very liberal admission policy. I considered it at one time but decided to go a different grad route (and subject). I work with a gentleman who graduated and he had very good things to say about it. With a UMASS degree you get RA and instant name recognition.
