So the following claims goes at http://www.stclements.edu/news.htm#wauc

    Armstrong University

At times negative assertions are made about the World Association of University’s and Colleges. Over the next few weeks the Academic News Report is focused on some of WAUC member to highlight the quality of the WAUC schools. Armstrong University a commercially owned institution situated at 1608 Webster Street, Oakland California USA is a member of WAUC.
The University was founded in 1918 and offers Bachelor and Master Degrees in Business. Degrees from Armstrong University are accredited by the Association of Independent Colleges and Schools a professional accreditation body recognised by the US Department of Education.

    Cheers,

Armstrong is not in WAUC's official list of members at:
    http://www.web-hed.com/wauc/universities.htm

nor does Armstrong mention WAUC on its accreditation Web page:

Don't confuse Armstrong Atlantic U. with Armstrong U. Armstrong Atlantic is an RA state university in Georgia, Armstrong is a CA-approved business school in Oakland.

If I recall correctly, Armstrong was once located in Berkeley and was RA. But it lost its regional accreditation and subsequently resurfaced in Oakland accredited by ACICS. Now its webpage makes no reference to ACICS either.

But interestingly, Armstrong seems to serve as the California extension site of Keuka College, an apparently well-regarded small RA college in New York state. You can earn Keuka degrees by attending Armstrong.

Also interesting is the fact that the BPPVE has no listing for Keuka College. California state law requres that out-of-state non-WASC schools operating remote programs within California be state approved to do so.

I've been corresponding with a group of concerned faculty at Keuka who are quite distressed by the Armstrong connection. The new information will, I suspect, elevate the distress to alarm.

I have written here about the time when my wife taught one course at Armstrong, failed five students from Asia who did not turn in a single assignment or take a single exam, was ordered by the Dean to change all the grades to A's, declined, was overruled, and quit.

If you read AU's international program page, it seems that Keuka
uses AU's China/Asia connections to deliver degree completion
programs to China/Asia. This may be a big reason why Keuka
    works with AU.

Anyway, it is sad to see that AU losts its ACICS accreditation.
I checked ACICS's website. AU is not in its latested accredited
    institution list.
