CLEP replied today to my personal inquiry on how to go about setting up a test center in Madrid. I suppose this can be of interest to all those who live in any country that doesn't have a test center. It sounds quite EASY: ******************************************* CLEP <[email protected]> wrote: Regarding your inquiry, Basically, test centers must be either at accredited colleges or universities or be Overseas Educational Centers. They would contact us regarding the details and procedures necessary for CLEP testing. There are no costs except for the hard ware necessary to handle CLEP testing. Hardware information may be found at: http://www.collegeboard.com/clep/clepcntr/html/tc004.html Thank you for your interest in CLEP. So... In addition to being self-learners, are (some of us) to be self-evaluating self-learners, too? Ya gotta see the irony: surely we can get credit for settting up a CLEP exam center! --Orson
