    Greetings to the mighty forum~~~

I have another MA idea. I'm considering an MA in education or an MEd with a specialization in reading.

Does anyone know of an education program, perhaps one overseas (have already perused Liu's site) that would accept the credits in my credential as a transfer and allow me to just take some courses to specialize in reading?

I suppose it depends on how many units that you want to use, how old the units are, and how flexible they'd like to be, but you could try the DL program at the University of Texas, University of Northern Iowa, or Liberty University. They all offer master's degrees in reading (in some form).

There are also some programs outside the U.S.

Do you know of any prog's outside US off the top of your head?

It would need to be either an:

MA in Education with a specialization in reading
    or
    M.Ed. in reading

I'm basically looking for the MEd in reading that will take the most transfer credits.

Ahh, thank you Chris for such a descriptive greeting.

As I leave home this morning I now have the posture of a mythical DL warrior, fighting my way through a world which is permeated with mills and shills. The sword is lifted and ready to engage all who would deviate from the truth of accreditation. Millish empires must fall. Shilling must be muted. The agenda is set.

May the Mighty Forum live long and prosper!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes Russell

There are many cursed dragons and orcs to slay in the DL world.

All mills must fall, and this forum can be, I fancy, something like the "knights of the round table."

Don't forget about the wenches either;)

University of Rio Grande, Ohio, (see link in above post) offers the M.Ed. by portfolio--perhaps they would offer the most credit by transfer?

thanks Orson. that may help a ton.

I'm currently looking into all these options. I'm also still planning on tracking that guy down when I get a rainy day...!
