    Hey folks,
Remember some time ago when I mentioned a consultant came to our company and during the course of a meeting that clown said Coca-Cola still put cocaine in their soft drinks? Well today I was pushed futher in the direction of a MLA over a MBA, and here is why:
In front of our company there are three flag poles and usually flying is the U.S., State and Canadian flag (Canadian owned) anyway, we are having the Plant Manager from Germany stopping by for a visit so out of respect to the guy our plant manager has the German flag fluttering in the breeze instead of our state flag.....so far so good huh??? Well low and behold what was to greet the guy was not a German flag but a Belgium flag. It was close but no cigar! What a hoot, they might have been better off with a old D.D.R flag flapping in the wind, or better yet..... hoisting the ole Jolly Roger! YEA-BOY two more years and it will be a career change and not just a career move!

Close enough for government work. You don't happen to work for the CIA or the Pentagon do you?

I know people who, within 5 minutes of meeting a complete stranger, will proclaim that they are "college educated". Then they proceed to demonstrate a complete lack of knowledge about anything outside their part of town, just like in the situation you described.

I, personally, would have LOVED the GDR flag ;)
(although the Belgian one also would have created a big smile + laughter on my face, I guess...)

    Greets from Germany,
