Anyone know anything about Trinity Southern University?
(aside from the fact that their URL is suspect...)

    This is their accreditation statement:
    quote
Trinity Southern University has been accreditated by the National Association of Prior Learning Assessment Colleges and Universities (NAPLACU).
    end quote

    Who is NAPLACU ???

    thanks !!!

Trinity Southern University is interesting because I believe that it is a FAKE degree mill -- i.e. a bogus non-operating degree mill set up by a REAL degree mill only so that the operators of the real degree mill can compare themselves favorably against it ("now that's a real fraud over there").

    Devious, these degree millers.

It seems that the school just closed doors since the link is broken.

I just got the AOL spam mentioned by DrPhibes:

The link was to http://www.janetp39.com/cl/sohvmrqazexbcx2oxvgpsv7, which redirects to http://www.trinitysouthernuniversity.org/.

According to http:///www.whois.net, the contact for janetp39.com is:

    Desmond Jones ([email protected])
    1509 Myrtle Street
    Scranton, PA 18510

    The contact for awesomeleads.com is:

    Dave Graves ([email protected])
    1114 E. John Sims Pkwy
    Niceville, FL 32578

So, OxPecker's ingenious surmise that Trinity Southern University is "a FAKE degree mill" seems to have been wrong.

It's easy to sum Trinity Southern University up. It does not exist. Neither does the university in Argentina it is 'linked' to. Still, you can get a nicely printed certificate sent from someone in Argentina saying you have a degree at a non-existant university in Texas, all for several hundred $$$'s. And if you are not happy you can get your money back, minus $40 for the printing costs. You might as well print your own 'degree certificate' out.

Avoid like the plague. I'm amazed that this outfit have managed to operate for so long. seems they have been 'provider-hopping'.

    Trinity Southern SCAM SCAM SCAM

Trinity Southern scam is up and running again! Hurry to get your worthless, bogus degree!

    Latest web site is at

    http://www.apc823.com/

and guess what! What? You can get your credit card debts consolidated by going to

    http://www.apc823.com/debt/

Isn't that a happy coincidence? Same domain name! Seems like they have no shame! This credit card consolidation page is another one of their (whoever they are) pages without any contact information -- a cop out to the fact that they are crooks.

NAPLAC ??? That is confirmed BS and I'm not talking about Bachelor of Science.

Stay away from Trinity Southern -- it is a total scam!!!

I don't think I would even consider a school or program that markets itself through SPAM.

    It feels like a scam!

    NAPLAC

I think the following demonstrates that NAPLAC is a bogus organization. A little reseach will show that NAPLAC is operated by the same people that operate the fake degree mill know as Trinity Southern University. TSU (as they sometimes call themselves) hops from web host to web host as they are booted off for spammiong and scamming. Read these two emails...

I sent this email to NAPLAC:

    Hello,

Can you supply me with a list of universities that are accedited by your organization?

What kind of accrediting organization would want to keep it a secret? I think the answer is clear: A bogus one!
