Catholic Distance University (DETC accredited/Vatican Approved Catechetical Institute) had an interesting point in its *about* section. It call St. Paul the first distance educator as he sent his writings to people he could not be present with for the purpose of educating them. http://www.cdu.edu/aboutus.asp I suppose he could have issued diplomas as he was accredited by Jesus Himself North
Actually, Acts 2:22 (NIV) reads, "Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God." Perhaps this accreditation is really the gold standard!
Re: Re: St. Paul First Distance Educator We would have to raise the bar here and make it Platinum. John
Yes, but was he first a candidate? Yes, Platinum indeed! But did God make first make him a candidate for accreditation? That would have made him unaccredited for the first few years of his DL "teachings".
Re: Re: St. Paul First Distance Educator I wish that one of you clergymen could direct me to God's accreditation webpage, where I could verify all of the conflicting claims of religions, divinities, saviors, scriptures, preachers, doctrines, gurus, surahs, sutras and so on.
