Question - how do some of you ensure that the person taking the test is the person taking the test?

    Thanks Salt

    Verifying identity in DL test-taking

Salt asked "Question - how do some of you ensure that the person taking the test is the person taking the test?"

I think it varies. One program I did required signed and notorized forms in addition to two forms of identification shown at the testing center. A different program simply required a signed statement submitted with the essay exam, no testing center required.

    Testing - LMS

Are you referring to proctor exams or do you use a learning managemet system (LMS)

    Proctored exam

    Hi,
I was referring to a proctored exam I took at a nearby community college. The school didn't specify where the exam could be taken so I'm sure the local library would have worked and been cheaper (as long as they would be willing to sign my forms and look at my I.D.). I'm not familiar with the Learning Management System.
