I had a very bad experience with University of North Alabama and Columbia Southern University admissions. I had applied to UNA thro CSU for MBA (Comp Info science) more than 2 months back and was advised to get my transcript evaluation thro ECE. I got it done within a week and was asked to take GMAT. Took GMAT last month (28th Dec 02). Before taking GMAT I was told unofficial scores should be enough to get an admission. Since then I am trying my best to talk to somebody in UNA online-MBA admissions. I called CSU admissions asking them what to do with my un-official GMAT score report and was told to fax it to UNA without even giving the fax number. I had to make calls to UNA to find out the fax number. I had no luck to talk to anybody who had any kind of info about me sending Unofficial GMAT scores. I was transferred to extensions without anybody, which asked me to leave messages always. I have left atleast 5 messages to call me back. But till this minute I have no calls from them (UNA). Anticipating that I would join UNA I even lost chance to Join Touro in Dec.
Three days back I called CSU and asked them about the status of my application and was told that somebody from CSU would give me a call and never got a call till today. I gave a call to CSU and talked to the admissions about the problems I was facing and did not get a proper answer. I was also told that both the universities were running low on staff.
What should I do.. Join UNA or not ?

Sorry to hear this. If you were fully admitted at Touro it might be worth a call to see if you can proceed. You might want to send a registered--with green proof of receipt card--express letter to the two schools (UNA & CSU) asking for immediate written clarification of your status--enclosing in that letter copies of whatever unofficial GMAT documentation you have and anything else you think is germane.

This kind of nonsense drove me overseas for DL. Best of luck to you.

I hope other posters can give you more tested advice.
